I am not a cake&cakes lover I need to say: too much sugar, butter and eggs in it... I am more on veggie, fresh stuff and high nutrients green leaves. But this time my loved one wanted to surprise me with a special birthday present, and a big challenge was in my 2014 birthday gift.
What was it? Wishing I will one day become as good as his mother in the dessert arena, he decided to send me over to Migas to attend their Pastry Class -should I say how much he would love me to make cakes for him? You might know the answer!
I was a bit skeptical at the beginning, but I have to admit that the 2 chefs, with their great passion for Mediterranean foods and their long lasting patience (I can be very annoying in the kitchen, I know!) really proved to be not only great chefs, but also great teachers!
We had more than 3 hour-class to study 6 different typical Mediterranean pastries:
Magdalenas, Pastry Puff, Pudding, Catalan Cream, Chocolate Mousse, Yogurt Mousse.
